My Partners

As Quernus Crafts has grown, I have begun working with some incredible artists, makers and other businesses, and here's where you can find details of them - click on the names to visit their website.

Facebook really is a wonderful tool for connecting people! Sam of HutchPotch found me on Facebook and when I looked at her work, I was immediately struck by how perfect her little painted houses would be for the mice! Sam made one up for me the next day and sent it over, and a mouse moved in straight away! These little houses are just beautifully made - they are only 10cm tall in total, so the mouse is about 1.5cm in size, but Sam and I have been having great fun coming up with designs for these Mouse Houses! Sam doesn't just make these cute wee houses - visit her Folksy shop to see more of her lovely work.

Dinky Delights
In May 2011, I saw a wonderful miniature cheeseboard on eBay and could immediately picture the mice having a bit of a feast. Louise Miller and I started chatting, and I found out that she makes all her miniature items entirely by hand - a refreshing change from the many items that mass produced and imported from abroad. And her miniature food items are just incredibly detailed - the mice are going to be spoiled with all the yummy things coming their way! Click here to visit Louise's eBay shop.

To complement Louise's wonderful food items, Felicity Price has a wonderful selection of miniature dolls' house furniture which I have been acquiring as mouse accessories. This is one of her lovely miniature fireside chairs which I used in a recent commission. She has some beautiful items, and is a lovely person to deal with. She also specialises in miniature needlepoint kits.

The Craft Studio
I've recently started working with The Craft Studio, who produce the most gorgeous hand-cut wooden letters, numbers and names. Here you can see a cake topper I made using one of their 6cm numbers, which they painted yellow and finished beautifully. Any combination of letters, numbers and colours is possible, and I'm more than happy to make wee mice (and other creatures) clamber all over them!

The Scottish Fairy Door Company
I was contacted early in 2011 by a lovely lady called Lyn who runs this super wee business in Edinburgh. She'd seen my Fairy Mice, put two and two together, and we decided we'd have some fun with her lovely fairy doors! So if you ever want a fairy door for your Fairy Door, you know where to go!

Glenda Bennett
Glenda Bennett is the genius behind a number of wonderful miniature wooden mouse accessories, most notably the stable for the Mouse Nativity set. She has written two books on Celtic Woodcarving (click on her name to visit her Amazon page) and as well as whittling, she is a wonderful artist too. I am very lucky that she is happy to create unique miniature accessories for me, from mouse playpens to a mouse-sized psychiatrist couch. Amazing.
